Personalised Blinds

Personalised blinds are blinds that have been designed in a particular way to suit your requirements. It is not possible to buy personalised blinds as ready made, although it may be possible to buy a ready made blind and add to it, to make it your own personal design.

Under most circumstances, you will have to order personalised blinds from a specific manufacturer. However, you may need to look at a few manufacturers or outlets before you find one that can personalise your blind as you want it. Most outlets will try their best to accommodate you, and as long as you do not require anything to outlandish, then it should be possible to find what you want. It may even be possible to buy a standard readymade blind and personalise it by using fabric paint or fabric to add your own touch.

Many outlets offer some form of personalisation. You should be able to choose from a variety of trims, for example, and these should be available in a large variety of colours. If a person comes to measure your window for you, it may be possible to buy the trim separately, and ask them to attach it to the blind when they make it. It is always worth asking what services in this area are available, and of course any extra costs involved. Also, remember that you may need to allow for extra time if you need something designed and printed, and of course you will not be able to return the blind.
