Expert blind fitting

Expert blind fitting is when someone who has been trained to fit your blind, comes to your home or office and fits the blind onto the window. In general, expert blind fitting occurs when you have ordered made-to-measure blinds and will be part of a package that includes a free quote, a measuring service and fitting the blind when it is ready.

The advantage of choosing an expert blind fitting package is that the whole thing is managed from start to finish by one company, that is, you do not have to find the blind, and then book the fitter, it will all be tailored to suit you. Many companies who deal with made-to-measure blinds will insist that you also use their fitter as part of the service. It is essential that you check if this is the case beforehand, as using another fitter will probably mean that your guarantee is invalid.

If you are intending to buy readymade blinds then it is still possible to have them professionally fitted. It may cost more than buying the blinds and fitting them yourself, but you are likely to end up with far superior results. If you have paid a lot of money for a blind, then it makes sense to have it fitted professionally if at all possible. Some styles of blinds can be difficult to cut to size and having this done professionally will mean that you end up with great looking window dressings.
